Friends and family members joined residents at a Black Isle care home on their inaugural sponsored walk.
Eilean Dubh in Fortrose held the event recently in a bid to raise money for the residents’ comfort fund.
This fund pays for a range of entertainment including day trips and special celebrations.
Residents from the Black Isle home, which opened last year, were joined by loved ones, staff and friends of the care home on a gloriously sunny day for the event.
Together they raised a total of £896.92 for the residents and, following a walk around the village of Fortrose, they were all treated to a well-deserved afternoon tea.
Jackie Macrae, acting manager at Eilean Dubh, said: “We’d like to thank everyone in the community who supported our walk, and especially those who joined us for a wonderful day out.
“We are lucky to live and work in a beautiful part of the world with some of the most stunning scenery anywhere in Scotland, so it was a joy to spend the day walking around Fortrose and taking in the sights.”
