AN Invergordon community group got lucky with the weather over the weekend for a special outdoor market.

The Seedlings Community Garden group has transformed an area of wasteland into a local attraction thanks to lots of green-fingered toil during the lockdown period.

People were glad to be back out and about and money raised will help top up a bark surface. Strawberries and blackberries have been planted. It has made a connection with the youth group from Invergordon Academy and plans to plant more trees in the garden.

A spokeswoman for the group said: “Everyone had fun and we can’t wait to do another fair very soon.”
