Black Isle pumpkin parade's return inspires bumper crop of entries at Rosemarkie Amenties Beach Cafe
THE return of a pumpkin parade proved to be a smashing success at a Black Isle beauty spot.
These two little cuties were proud as punch of their beautiful entries and they were joined by around 90 others who let their imaginations run wild for the community celebration.
Hosted by the Rosemarkie Amenities Beach Café, the event was also a great scene setter for an eagerly anticipated bonfire and fireworks night planned for this Saturday.
The pumpkin parade returned in full force this year having now become something of a Halloween tradition.
There were six categories: most creative; most spooky; traditional neeps; unusual vegetable; special award and overall champion.
Visitors hailed the “fantastic creativity” of participants and thanked organisers for pulling it together.
Ahead of Saturday's bonfire, which will be lit at 6.30pm, the beach café posted: “This is a community event organised by volunteers. The sales from all stands around the beach café, from refreshments and items sold, fund this event. Please look out for and purchase from official stands in order to support this event.”
