ARDROSS SWI swept the boards at what was described as a "beautiful" bulb show in Dingwall.

Ross-shire and Sutherland Federation SWI held its first bulbs-only show at St Clement's Church Hall.

The quality of bulbs was excellent with the wonderful aroma hitting visitors the moment they entered.

Betty Fraser from Ardross SWI was triumphant with her winning entries described as "a sight to see!"

Refreshments proved popular and a chance for a catch up whilst enjoying the beautiful homemade bakes provided by the Federation committees.

Ann McGhee, Federation chairman, said: "We had a beautiful Bulb Show in Dingwall. Many congratulations to all the ladies who entered their beautiful bulbs.Special congratulations to Betty Fraser and Ardross Institute. Thank you to the executive committee and the members of the H&H committee for their support and hard work and to everyone who came along and bought raffles and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea.”

The Handcraft, Floral Art and Baking show will be in September.
