Red Arrows thrills over Tain captured by Black Isle snapper
PRACTICE runs by the world-famous Red Arrows thrilled lucky onlookers in Easter Ross this week.
The RAF display team had flagged its plans in advance, creating a ripple of excitement across the Highlands.
One of the world's premier aerobatic display teams, representing the speed, agility and precision of the Royal Air Force, the Red Arrows are widely regarded as the public face of the service.

Amongst many keen to catch a glimpse of their breathtaking displays this week was David May of Culbokie, who was out and about with his camera in Tain.
His patience and determination were rewarded with this stunning shot, which he shared with us.
He said: “I like to see the aircraft and it is a belting viewpoint. I’m always looking/hoping for that elusive perfect shot. Still to be achieved!”
Most of us, it’s probably fair to say, would be fairly pleased to catch an image like this.
