A ROSS-SHIRE opticians has undergone a £300,000 revamp.

Specsavers Dingwall, located on the county town’s High Street, has recently undergone a full store upgrade ensuring it can continue to give customers the best service possible.

The upgrade includes increased frame displays and bigger shop floor space, so customers can enjoy browsing with ease.

The store has also added two extra test rooms, one which includes the ability for hearcare testing and a wax removal area, and a fields test room along with a larger customer waiting area.

On the second floor, there is a new teaching area for the contact lens department, along with the lab where customers’ glasses are made, and a larger staff room.

The store is also connected to a call centre which is where customer calls are now directed, meaning the shop floor is now phone free.

The larger staff room allows further space for staff training to take place within the store, supporting team members to progress within the company.

Gavin Wreath, optometrist director at Specsavers Dingwall, saaid: ‘We have invested a grand total of £300,000 into the store, meaning customers will get the very best quality of care and service when they come to us for an eye, contact lens or hearing test.

‘We provide a vital service to the people of Dingwall and the investment in the store is imperative, showcasing our commitment to the community. We look forward to welcoming both existing and new customers.”
