Station Bar in Alness and Dipping Lugger in Ullapool take a bow with SLTN accolades
AN Easter Ross hotel is celebrating its latest success after notching a community pub of the year award.
Hospitality operators and workers in the Highlands were among the winners at an event to recognise excellence across Scotland’s hospitality industry.
The annual Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN) Awards celebrate the best in the business from local venues and bar staff to national operators.

More than 20 trophies were presented at the awards hosted by actor and comedian James Corden at the Glasgow Hilton.
The Station Bar in Alness was named Community Pub of the Year for the second year running.
The Dipping Lugger in Ullapool won the Restaurant of the Year (Fine Dining) award.
Messages of congratulation poured in after the results were announced.
“Massive congratulations to you all...doing Alness proud once again”, posted Christine Morris.
Shirley Cooper added: “Well done to you all. Worthy winners, the Station is a great friendly pub.”
Thomas Macmillan added: “Well deserved. Best pub around this area I personally think and a friendly atmosphere every time I am there.”
The pub itself offered thanks for local support, posting: “Amazing! Thank you to all the Station Family and all that you do ! Much love.”
