IT has been a busy few weeks across Ross-shire for the farmers making the most of a remarkably settled spell of good weather.

Ron Bews captured this atmospheric shot at Rosskeen Farm in Invergordon of spring barley being sown.

The photo will appear in this week’s print edition in a feature called Ross-shire through the Lens. You’ll find it on the letters page every week.

We get a delightfully diverse selection of images over the course of a year.

But there’s always room for more!

We’re particularly keen to see more from less-featured areas and off the beaten track.

The idea is simple: you take a photograph whilst out and about in Ross-shire and email it across.

It could be from a weekend walk into the hills, to a familiar Ross-shire landmark or even at an event you are attending.

The idea is that it captures an aspect of life in Ross-shire or reflects the glorious environment in which we live.

There’s no reason why people and pets can’t feature too so let your imagination run free!

Email your image and just a few details about where it was taken to hector.mackenzie@hnmedia.co.uk
