JOB seekers looking for an opening in the hospitality trade are being tempted with a stunning view by a well-known Wester Ross inn on the lookout for staff.

Applecross Inn's hunt for two members of staff has already turned the heads of hundreds of people on social media.

Posting a sea view image taken from the staff garden to accompany its appeal, it says that "chances like this don’t come up too often".

The inn, which has managed to negotiate the coronavirus crisis's rocky road, is a popular destination with holidaymakers and visitors heading across the notorious Bealach na Ba mountain pass to one of the scenic jewels in the crown of Wester Ross.

It posted: "Ever fancied moving to Applecross? We have a double en-suite room in our staff house now available so are looking a for a couple / two friends to join our team."

While saying it is ideally seeking a chef and front of house couple, it states that it may be flexible.

Benefits being flagged to the potential job hunters include "good rates of pay, fantastic benefits and excellent tips, free gym membership at Applecross Gym, meals provided on duty, and accommodation available with views like this where you can chill out on your days off".

It also states that "we also do our utmost to give you the best work / life balance we can".

It says: "Not many people get the opportunity to move somewhere like Applecross so we know chances like this don’t come up too often, but we are looking for an immediate start and want to get the positions filled ASAP."

Those who reckon they could fit the bill are asked to email Mark or Judith at hello@applecrossinn.co.uk
