Sheep sale at Dingwall Mart
DINGWALL and Highland Marts sold 3123 sheep at its latest sale yesterday.
Lambs (2702) averaged £59.64 (+£16.87 on the year) and sold to £90 gross for a Suffolk cross from the Steading, Bettyhill.
Ewes and feeding sheep (421) sold to £200 gross twice for Cheviot rams from Inverinate Estate, Kyle of Lochalsh.
The mart said: “All classes once again commanded a strong trade.”
