Invergordon Lifeboat Launch a Memory scheme inspires special 40th birthday cake gift
A THOUGHTFUL gift from the husband of a woman who has just marked a milestone birthday has created ripples of delight far beyond their home.
Jennifer Port from Golspie shared a picture of herself with a lifeboat cake gifted to her for her 40th by her husband.
She said: "My late Dad’s name is on Agnes AP Barr’s decal. For my 40th birthday, my husband thoughtfully had this wonderful cake made, with my Dad’s name on the side and our five kiddies sitting on the bow."
The crew responded: "As like any lifeboat crew, we all love cake. However look at this cake – it’s is absolutely outstanding! Happy Birthday Jennifer from all at Invergordon Lifeboat Station! Hope you have a great day!"
Geri Burnett posted: "How special, happy birthday, your Dad sails with my husband. Always in our hearts as are the crews of all lifeboats."
