Dingwall Academy closed to S1 and S2 due to staff absences – but remains open to other year groups

A ROSS-SHIRE secondary will be closed to S1 and S2 pupils today owing to high levels of staff absence.

Dingwall Academy says however that all other year groups should attend as normal.

It is amongst a number of schools in the county in recent weeks to have been affected.

It posted: "Unfortunately, due to high levels of staff absence, school will be closed to S1 and S2 on Monday 28th March.

"All other year groups should attend as normal.

"We hope to be able to open to all on Tuesday but will update parents and pupils."
