Identity of man found at Scrabster harbour confirmed





Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man recovered from Scrabster harbour on Thursday, April 15, has now been formally identified as David Budge from Thurso.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "David's next of kin are aware and our thoughts remain with them at this time.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."

A Police Scotland underwater unit van and inflatable aided in the search for Mr Budge. Thurso RNLI lifeboat The Taylors was also called out several times to help locate the missing man.
