1. Dingwall man's message to Royal Mail over abuse of disabled parking bays
A grieving husband is calling on Royal Mail workers to stop parking in disabled bays.
Leslie Mikolajczyk (60) from Dingwall says the town's Royal Mail workers are being irresponsible by using the bays, and they need to stop taking liberties due to the pandemic.
The disabled bays are on the town's Park Street based between the Royal Mail Sorting Office and the church.

2. Amazon working to secure base in Highland capital
Amazon is working to keep a distribution depot in Inverness operational.
The online retailing giant uses the NGC delivery office in the city’s Carsegate Road as its base in the Highlands but it is now understood to be at risk of closure.
A spokesman for Amazon said: "We are working to keep the site operational.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested after an incident in Strathpeffer.
Police are continuing their investigations after, what is being described as, a disturbance following an incident in the Park Terrace area earlier this afternoon.

4. Crumbing roads leave 'unheard' Ross-shire councillors feeling ashamed
Anger over potholed roads has reached the point where some Ross-shire councillors are ashamed to be associated with the local authority.
A heated meeting of the full council heard some say they were being made to look like “fools”.
Debate centred over whether millions of pounds of surplus cash should be invested immediately into the crumbling road network or saved as reserves.
5. Highland chipper nets prestigious UK award
A HIGHLAND fish and chip shop is toasting sizzling success in a prestigious national industry award.
McLeod’s Fish & Chips, of Grant Street in Inverness, was named by leading trade publication Fry Magazine as one of the 50 best – from among more than 10,000 – in the UK.
