Transit van fire-raising incident on Black Isle sparks Highland police dash-cam appeal
A TRANSIT van parked up in a Black Isle lay-by was set on fire under cover of the night.
And now police are appealing to anyone who may have dash-cam footage to help them with their inquiries.
Police in Dingwall this morning appealed for witnesses to what they describe as a fire-raising involving a grey Ford Transit van.

It was in a lay by on the the B9163 outside Culbokie, near Resolis.
The vehicle is believed to have been set on fire about 10.35pm on Monday night.
The Highlands and Islands division of Police Scotland posted: “We would encourage motorists to check their dash-cams if they were passing near to the area at this time.”
