AN acclaimed irish band took Strathpeffer by storm during a sold out show at an iconic local venue.

The Tumbling Paddies hailed “a great night In Strathpeffer” ahead of a gig in Glasgow’s famous Barrowland Ballroom tonight.

They were brought to Strathpeffer Pavilion for what was their Highland debut by events organiser Lorraine Christie.

Some local attendees took to social media to share their appreciation. One wrote: “Excellent night in Strathpeffer , brilliant band xx.” Another posted: “Great night thank you so much.”

The band shared some up-close footage from the show.
