UPDATE: A9 fully re-opened near Tain after four-vehicle collision





THE A9 at the Tain by-pass was fully reopened last night following an earlier four-vehicle accident.

Traffic Scotland, which monitors traffic on Scotland's trunk roads, had earlier flagged the incident reported to police at around 7.55am.

Debris from the accident had been cleared by 10.18pm.

Police said earlier that one female has suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.
