UPDATE: A9 Kessock Bridge reopens after earlier police incident

A MAJOR A9 link has reopened again following an earlier closure this evening.

The Kessock Bridge was closed due to what was described as a police incident at around 8.36pm this evening.

Traffic Scotland, which monitors Scotland’s trunk road network, issued an update at 9.36pm to say that it had been re-opened.

It stated: “Kessock Bridge incident now over and the road has reopened.”
