WATCH: Kyle of Lochalsh RNLI launches in early hours

ROSS-SHIRE’s RNLI lifeboat crews are ready around the clock every day of the year to respond when pagers sound.

That is clearly illustrated in this footage of a Kyle RNLI callout in the early hours of this morning.

The lifeboat was launched on service shortly before 1.30am this morning.

Details of the launch have yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Kyle crew is on the lookout for people who have volunteered with it down the years.

2025 marks 30 years since the first RNLI lifeboat was stationed in the village.

The team are trying to get in touch with everyone who has volunteered and helped out with all aspects of the running of the station over the years.

It posted: “Maybe you were part of the crew, worked in the shop, helped the fundraising committee or volunteered in some way?

“If so, we would ask if you can fill in the short form at the link below and pass it on to anyone else you know who has been involved with us over the years!”
