Ullapool-based Seafood Shack and Rhidorroch Distillery toast success of fundraiser that pulls in £4600 for Highland Coastguard and Raigmore Children's ward
The two companies, Seafood Shack and Rhidorroch Distillery, ran a fundraiser day for the last day of season. The money raised will be split between Highland Coastguard and Raigmore Children's ward.
Katie Scobie, owner of Rhidorroch Distillery said:"On the day, we raised £4600 from profits from cocktails at our pop up Rhidorroch Distillery bar, and from food at the Seafood Shack. We chose these causes because they are great, and are so important to us in the Highlands."
The day offered food, cocktails, games, music and raffles.
The games were: Nail on a Bail, Whiskey Tosser, or a £1 spin on the forklift.
There was also music throughout the day from local musicians, such as Martin Gilligan, Shrew and the Loveland Frogmen, Ullapool Community Choir, and Matt Morrow.
