Wester Ross road closure on A835 confirmed by police
HIGHLAND police have confirmed a road closure in Wester Ross due to adverse weather conditions.
The A835 between Braemore and Aultguish has been closed.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Traffic Scotland advises motorists in that area to "expect delays" and says the closure will be in effect "until further notice".
It follows multi-agency warnings about adverse weather forecast for the next few days and challenging conditions across parts of Ross-shire and beyond earlier today.
Amber weather warnings for snow are in place in several areas with police urging motorists to make themselves aware of local weather forecasts and to consider whether their journeys are essential.
