A BLACK Isle family fun day held last Saturday (May 24), in aid of three local causes, has been hailed a “wonderful” event.

Held at the Black Isle Showfield, the event saw a range of activities for all the family, including: dancing diggers, bouncy castles, farrier displays, animals, BBQ, tombola and much more.

The event was in aid of three local causes: Black Isle Cares, a charity supporting vulnerable people; Sophie’s Story, a fundraiser for Sophie Mason who has the life-limiting degenerative disorder of Batten Disease (CLN1); and for St Clement’s School in Dingwall.

Black Isle Cares said: “A massive thank you to everyone who came along to the family fun day! What a lovely, busy day we have all had.

“Thank you to our team of volunteers, and everyone supporting our three amazing charities. And thank you to the Bain family for organising such a wonderful event.”
