The 24-year-old goalkeeper is set to join the Bairns from League of Ireland side Dundalk, who he joined from the Staggies in January of this year, but is not eligible to play until January.

Before crossing the Irish Sea, Munro spent the previous seven years of his senior career trying to break into the County first 11.

During that time, the Nairn native had spells on loan with Brora Rangers, Raith Rovers, Cowdenbeath, and Annan Athletic.

He was part of the Raith side that earned promotion from League One to the Championship in the curtailed 2019/20 campaign, and will be hoping for similar success with Falkirk, who are currently two points clear at the top of Scotland’s second tier.
