Ross County players represent Liberia in World Cup qualification matches, Northern Ireland in international friendlies and Scotland at under-21 level

The Ross County midfielder, who is on loan from Hibernian until the end of the season picked up his seventh cap on Monday night.

He played the full 90 minutes in their victory to put them in third place in their qualifying group on 10 points.

He was also an unused substitute in their 1-0 defeat against Tunisia on Friday.

With four points remaining, they are six points behind group leaders Tunisia on 16, with the team that finishes top receiving automatic qualification to the World Cup.

Liberia are two points behind Namibia who are on 12 points, with the team that finishes in second place receiving a possible second chance for qualification in the play-offs.

Other teams in Liberia’s group also include Equatorial Guinea, Malawi and São Tomé e Príncipe.

Striker Ronan Hale was called up for Northern Ireland for their friendly matches against Switzerland and Sweden.

But he is still waiting for his first international cap as he was an unused substitute in both matches where Northern Ireland drew 1-1 with Switzerland in Belfast on Friday and then lost 5-1 to Sweden in Stockholm on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, defender Dylan Smith was in the Scotland Under-21 squad which beat Republic of Ireland 2-0 in Murcia on Friday but lost 6-1 to Iceland in Falkirk on Tuesday.
