The 24-year-old suffered the injury in training ahead of this afternoon’s match against Aberdeen.

He originally signed for the Staggies last summer on a free transfer from Colchester United, and has made 32 appearances to date across all competitions, scoring three goals.

Chilvers had become a key man in County’s starting 11 as an attacking midfielder, doing his bit to fill the gap left by Yan Dhanda.

However, the Staggies will now have to do without one of their star players for the 2024/25 run-in, and most likely the first half of next season too.
